Drive ... Drive and keep driving

I surprised myself over the weekend by driving 10hrs at a stretch. This should be a new record of sorts for me, but the trip was amazing. The entire point of this vacation was for me to enjoy driving and the people who accompanied me were just a small cog in this entire master scheme of mine. It was peak summer and the long road included all kinds of terrain, the best portion though was the music to accompany me in this trip the likes AC~DC and Black Sabbath. In the end, my itch(?) to drive long hours was finally fulfilled and also some how managed to get one long weekend out of the way. Long weekends have for long been a torture for me as it involved planning, coordination and execution of that plan along with all your friends. The trouble was not the planning part but the social part of coordination and execution with your friends. Anyways had an excellent trip with almost 20hrs worth driving! Couldn have asked for a better weekend.
