It is gangster movies the entire week in AMC and they have aptly named as MobWeek (If it was Sun TV it would have been advertised as "Rowdy Vaaaram"!). They could have rather called it Al Pacino week as the movies selected for playing are 'Godfather 1 & 2', 'Carlito's way', 'Scarface', 'Donnie Brasco'. May be they included 'Goodfellas' as no mob movie celebration is complete without Joe Pesci, Di Nero & Ray Liotta entertaining us.
Anyways, they screened Scarface yesterday and this particular restaurant scene in the movie somehow is the best. This scene brings out the actor in Al Pacino, this is the point where he starts to look vulnerable in the movie
One another scene in the movie I like is the bath tub sequence, the raw anger portrayed throughout the scene is what is makes it amazing(Somehow i couldnt find a video of that in Youtube to embed here, Weird!). It is "Pulp Fiction" this sunday and "Goodfellas" tomorrow, with no great movies hitting the theater I would say it should be an amazing weekend ahead with the evening booked in front of the idiot box.
